Welcome to Takt

Takt is a time tracking app for iPhone developed by Philip Kartin. By using Takt, you agree to these terms.

Your data

Takt does not require an account. Your time entries, activities, and tags are stored on your device and optionally synced through your personal iCloud account. We have no server and no access to your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Free and Full

Takt is free with 3 active activities and 5 active tags, all features included. The Full version unlocks unlimited activities and tags via a monthly subscription or one-time lifetime purchase.

Subscriptions

The monthly subscription is auto-renewable and billed by Apple at the price shown in the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Cancellation, billing changes, and refunds are all handled by Apple. Takt cannot process these. Manage your subscription at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

All purchases are also subject to Apple's Standard EULA.

Lifetime purchase

A one-time payment granting permanent full access to Takt. The price is shown in the App Store.

Loyalty to lifetime

Each non-refunded month of subscription counts toward lifetime access. After 12 months (they don't need to be consecutive), Takt becomes yours forever. Refunded or revoked months don't count. When you earn lifetime, Takt shows a persistent banner in Settings with a cancel button for as long as your subscription remains active. Earning lifetime does not automatically cancel your subscription. Apple doesn't allow apps to do this. You must cancel through Apple yourself. Charges after earning lifetime are your responsibility.

Using Takt

Use Takt for personal time tracking. Don't reverse-engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app. We reserve the right to update Takt at any time, including changing features, pricing, or these terms.

What we promise (and what we can't)

We do our best to keep Takt reliable, but can't guarantee uninterrupted service or prevent data loss. iCloud sync depends on Apple's infrastructure. Back up your data if it's critical for billing or reporting.

Age requirement

Takt is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirement set by the App Store in their region.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
